The First Church of God, located in Cincinnati’s Corryville community, is an affiliate of the Church of God Reformation Movement in Anderson, Indiana and the National Association of the Church of God in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania.

The history of the Fosdick Street church dates back to 1916 when it was established in the second floor apartment of one of its founders, Rev. Pinkie Stevens.  Graduating from tenement buildings to store front as it increased in membership, the congregation moved into its first semblance of a church building on Richmond Street in 1945 in Cincinnati’s  West End.

As the church family continued to expand, a more spacious structure was located in Walnut Hills on Savoy Place in 1952.  Twelve years later, the congregation purchased its current edifice at 230 Fosdick Street in Corryville and recently celebrated its ninety-first anniversary.
